Mobile Mechanic Price List 2026: National Ranges for 26 Common Jobs

Updated 2026-10-17. Sources are listed at the end.

Disclosure: Some links on this page go to companies whose affiliate or referral programs we participate in or have applied to. If you buy through a link marked "(paid link)" we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we write; every number here is cited to its source. How we make money.

This is the reference table we wish we’d had when we started: what the common mobile jobs cost nationally, split into labor and parts, all from one source and one date, so the numbers compare. Every row links to the RepairPal estimate, and most link to our detailed guide on how to quote that job.

Read this first: these are national ranges from RepairPal, last updated September 3, 2026. They exclude taxes and fees and aren’t adjusted for location or vehicle. They’re a sanity check, not your price list. Your prices should come from your costs; build them with the labor rate & break-even calculator.

Notes on a few rows

Build your own price list in 4 steps

  1. Find your rate: the labor rate & break-even calculator gives your break-even and target rates from your actual costs.
  2. Set your trip fee or zones: the trip & travel-fee calculator builds a zone table from your mileage cost and drive time.
  3. For each job you do often: book hours × your rate + typical parts × (1 + markup). Check the result against the national range above. If you’re far above it, check your costs; if you’re far below, you’re probably underpriced.
  4. Put it into your estimates: the free estimate & invoice generator or your shop software.

For the market labor-rate data behind this, see auto repair labor rates in 2026.
